Anotace:	Monografie se zaměřuje na problematiku imigrace z rodinné perspektivy, což je přístup doposud v České republice v souvislosti s migracemi značně opomíjený. Sledována byla pouze jedna kategorie imigrantů, a sice imigranti ze "třetích zemí", na jejichž pobyt a zaměstnání se vztahují nejpřísnější legislativní pravidla. Zjištění vychází z kvalitativního terénního výzkumu realizovaného v homogenních (dle státního občanství) rodinách přistěhovalců z Ukrajiny, Vietnamu a Bulharska. Při analýze dat byly zohledňovány tři základní roviny: národní, rodinná a individuální. Hlavní pozornost byla věnována několika základním oblastem života cizinců, které pomáhají objasnit jejich strategie v České republice: rodinné sítě, pozice na trhu práce, integrace a životní podmínky.

Anotace v angličtině:	The monograph paper focuses on the issue of immigration from a family perspective, which has so far been largely overlooked by research into migration in the Czech Republic. Only one group of immigrants is observed, namely immigrants from "third countriesö to which the strictest legislative measures apply. The methodology used is that of a qualitative field survey in non-mixed families of immigrants from Ukraine, Vietnam, and Bulgaria. Analysis of qualitative data takes place on three levels: national, family and individual. Attention is focused on the following areas of foreignersĺ lives that can help to explain many of the strategies opted for by foreigners in the Czech Republic: family networks, labour market positions, integration, and living conditions.

Anotace:	Základním cílem monografie zpracované v rámci projektu financovaného Evropským integračním fondem byl průzkum veřejného mínění cizinců z třetích zemí, a to Ukrajinců, Vietnamců a Rusů o otázkách integrace a jejich náhledu na majoritní společnost a život v ní. Zjištění z průzkumu přispěla jak ke zmapování postojů a vztahu cizinců k integraci do české společnosti, tak k poodhalení jejich hodnot a norem choČvání. V rámci metodiky bylo realizováno a vyhodnoceno empirické dotazníkové šetření, které probíhalo ve vybraných krajských městech České republiky. Výsledky šetření byly obohaceny a prohloubeny o poznatky získané sekundární analýzou dostupných releČvantČních zdrojů. Součástí projektu bylo navržení vhodných opatření zaměřených na podporu a posílení integračního procesu cizinců z třetích zemí do české majoritní společnosti.

Anotace v angličtině:	The main objective of the monograph, prepared as part of a project funded by the European Integration Fund, was a survey of public opinion of Third Country Nationals (TCNs), i.e. Ukrainians, Vietnamese, and Russians, on the issues of integration and their attitude to the majority society and the life in it. The findings of the survey contributed to mapping the attitudes and opinions of foreigners to integrate into Czech society and also unveiling their values and standards of behaviour. As part of the methodology, an empirical survey conducted in selected regional cities in the Czech Republic was carried out. The outputs of the survey have been enriched and deepened by knowledge acquired via secondary analysis of available relevant sources. The project also included a design of appropriate measures to promote and strengthen the integration process of third country nationals into the Czech majority society.

Anotace v angličtině:	The main objective of the monograph prepared as part of a project funded by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic has been mapping and increase knowledge about the process of family integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs), i.e. Ukrainians, Vietnamese, and Russians into the majority society of the Czech Republic with regard to their socio- cultural characteristics and the role of women in the integration process. As part of the methodology an empirical survey was conducted on a sample of 1,219 respondents surveyed in seven selected regions of the Czech Republic, namely in the Capital City of Prague, Central Bohemia Region, Pilsen Region, South Moravian Region, Usti Region, Hradec Kralove Region, Moravian-Silesian Region. Research outputs have been enriched and deepened by knowledge acquired via secondary analysis of available relevant sources. The project also included a design of appropriate measures to promote and strengthen the family integration process of third country nationals into th e majority society of the Czech Republic with regard to women as the bringer of culture in the integration process.

Anotace:	Příspěvek o ruské komunitě na českém území je součástí řešení projektů, zabývajících se monitoringem integračních procesů cizinců třetích zemí v České republice, jejichž zadavatelem je MV ČR. Předmětem zájmu jsou občané Ruské federace a míra jejich integrace do české většinové společnosti. Rusové představují třetí nejpočetnější cizineckou komunitu z třetích zemí na českém území. Její počet pozvolna, ale lineárně narůstá a jak výzkumy ukazují, Rusové přijíždějí do České republiky natrvalo. Od ostatních cizineckých subpopulací se však odlišují řadou specifik. Cílem příspěvku je poukázat na vybrané charakteristické rysy ruských imigrantů v kontextu vývoje cizinců z třetích zemí a nejpočetnějších komunit Ukrajinců a Vietnamců, které spolu s Rusy pokrývají dominantní většinu celé cizinecké populace z třetích zemí žijící v ČR. Zjištění se opírají o kvantitativní (administrativní) údaje řady resortů, vč. Českého statistického úřadu a jsou doplněny hloubkovými rozhovory se zástupci státní/veřejné správy, neziskových organizací a samotnými ruskými imigranty. Snahou je identifikovat specifika ruských imigrantů a naznačit potenciální míru jejich integrace do české společnosti, vč. možných bariér.

Anotace v angličtině:	This contribution on the Russian community in the Czech Republic forms part of a project commissioned by the Czech Ministry of the Interior addressing the monitoring of the integration process of third-country foreigners in the country. The subject of interest concerns citizens of the Russian Federation and the extent to which they are integrating into the Czech majority society. Russians make up the third largest third-country foreigner community in the Czech Republic; their number is slowly but steadily increasing and research has revealed that Russians move to the Czech Republic on a permanent basis. However, in comparison with other foreign communities, they differ in terms of a number of aspects. The aim of the paper, therefore, is to highlight selected characteristic features of Russian immigrants in the context of the development of third-country foreigners and the two most numerous communities, i.e. Ukrainians and Vietnamese who, together with the Russians, make up the dominant majority of the total t hird-country population living in the Czech Republic. The findings are based on quantitative (administrative) data obtained from a number of ministries as well as from the Czech Statistical Office, and are complemented by in-depth interviews with representatives of state and public administration authorities and non-profit organisations and Russian immigrants themselves. The aim is to identify the specific characteristics of Russian immigrants and to indicate the potential extent of, and potential barriers to, their integration into Czech society.
