Monografie zprostředkovává ucelený přehled klíčových podmínek a stěžejních mechanismů, aktivit, programů apod. určených na podporu sociálních podniků v ČR, jež determinují jejich současné postavení a možnosti jejich fungování. Těmto otázkám se přitom monografie věnuje ve spojitosti s tématem zaměstnávání osob znevýhodněČných na trhu práce obecně, respektive více specificky v souvislosti s vybranými aspekty týkajícími se zaměstnávání osob se záznamem v Rejstříku trestů.
Tímto svým zaměřením monografie navazuje na dříve realizovaný explorativní výzkum "Analýza překážek v zaměstnání osob propuštěných z VTOS na trhu práce a možnosti jejich pracovního uplatnění; vliv a podpora sociálního dialogu". V rámci této monografie byly systematicky shrnuty některé již dříve získané poznatky, současně ale byla v této monografii pozornost primárně soustředěna na legislativní a institucionální podmínky determinující postavení a fungování sociálních podniků, respektive determinující jejich roli a možnosti při zaměstnávání osob znevýhodněných na trhu práce. Podstatně větší akcent na téma legislativních a institucionálních podmínek tak zároveň značně odlišoval tento navazující výzkum od předchozího, jehož záměrem bylo, zachytit poněkud širší spektrum souvislostí charakterizujících současnou praxi ve sledované oblasti.
V této monografii tak byly dále doplněny a rozvedeny některé již dříve shroČmážděné poznatky, zároveň ale legislativní a institucionální podmínky představovaly primární hlediska akcentovaná v tomto výzkumu. Z těchto důvodů byly rozebrány podstatně podrobněji, než tomu bylo v předchozím výzkumu, a představovaly současně i klíčovou perspektivu, na základě níž byly prezentované poznatky uspořádány a vyhodnoceny. Již předchozí výzkum totiž velmi zřetelně naznačil, že legislativní a instiČtuČcionální podmínky podstatným způsobem předurčují celkové možnosti působení sociálních podniků i jejich roli a možnosti při zaměstnávání znevýhodněných osob. Monografie vznikla v rámci širšího projektu "Sociální dialog jako prevence polarizace společnosti a nástroj k práci s lidským kapitálem v době digitalizace a robotizace".

The monograph provides a comprehensive overview of key conditions and main mechanisms, activities, programs, etc. designed to support social enterprises in the Czech Republic, which determine their current position and the possibilities of their functioning. The monograph deals with these issues in connection with the topic of employment of persons disadvantaged in the labour market in general, or more specifically in connection with selected aspects related to the situation and work integration of persons with criminal record.
In this way, the monograph follows the exploratory research "Analysis of barriers to employment of persons released from VTOS on the labour market and possibilities of their employment; influence and promotion of social dialogueö. Within this monograph, some of the previously acquired knowledge has been systematically summarized, but at the same time the attention has been focused in this monograph primarily on legislative and institutional conditions determining the position and functioning of social enterprises, respectively determining their role and possibilities in employing people disadvantaged in the labour market. The significantly greater emphasis on legislative and institutional conditions also markedly distinguishes this follow-up research from the previous one, which described the current practice in the monitored area without application of a specific analytical perspective(s) and whose intention was to capture as broader spectrum of relevant issues as possible.
In this monograph, the previously gathered knowledge was further suppleČmented and elaborated. At the same time the legislative and institutional conditions were the primary aspects analysed in this research. For these reasons, they were discussed in a greater detail than in previous research, and at the same time represented a key perspective according to which the presented findings were organized and evaluated. The specific focus of this research on legislative and institutional conditions originated already from the fact that yet the previous research had clearly indicated that legislative and institutional conditions substantially determine the overall possibilities for social enterprises to operate, as well as their role and opportunities for employing disadvantaged people. The monograph was created as part of a wider project "Social dialogue as a prevention of society polarization and a tool to work with human capital at the time of digitalization and robotizationö.
